About us
Introduction
We are an education PR consultancy with strong relationships in the education media, ensuring your message gets out to key audiences, online, in print and in broadcasting.
Amazing achievements happen every day in schools and colleges - we use our nose for news, great writing and understanding of how the media works to ensure your story is told.
Background
I've been working in the media for 25 years. I started my career as a journalist and since then I have written for and sub-edited at dozens of titles including The Sunday Times, Press Association, Tatler, The Times, The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and The Daily Express. I also lectured on National Council for the Training of Journalists-approved courses and advised corporates on media strategy. I am also the co-author of a handful of travel books.
In 2014, I decided to use this understanding of how the media works to take a full-time role handling independent Sussex school Brighton College's PR, substantially raising its profile nationally and internationally. In January 2019, I launched Red Robin PR, specializing in educational PR. With a raft of media contacts, a keen nose for spotting wonderful stories in the everyday of school life and a deep interest in the education sector, I look forward to hearing how I can raise the profile of your school, further education college or university.
